Introduction to today's journeySOME OF Hawaii's most dramatic mountain landscape is on Oahu. It is not as old and worn as Kauai, and not new like the main island. It is somewhere in between where the shield volcano has eroded into some amazing landforms which feature quite often in movies based in exotic locations. Today's journey takes me from Honolulu crossing the middle of the island towards its northern coast. Once I reach the coast, I head westward to some dramatic mountains at the famous Kualoa Ranch, where many movies have been filmed. Today's JourneyDistance travelled today: 98 kilometres.
