IT WAS fantastic returning to the solitude of Moreton Island. This time though it was the middle of winter this trip and I decided to stay along the beautiful northern coast.
The tide had gone out but due to erosion undercutting some of the forest, it was a little difficult going around the point with fallen trees strewn over the beach. Once past these trees though, the beach was all mine. No one had been through here today.
