BRISBANE is well known for its severe storms which often strike in November to December each year marking the start of the rainy season. It does not often rain here, but when it does the storms are spectacular.

Here I am on the eleventh floor of a high rise building in the middle of Brisbane. There are over 20 levels above me. The rain is directly hitting the building. With nowhere else to go, the rain accumulates and runs down the glass wall of the building in a spectacular waterfall blocking out nearly all of the view of the city below.
