LATE October marks the start of the storm season. Shortly after the spring equinox storms begin to roll in from the west, where high level prevailing winds clash with the sea breezes coming in the opposite direction. As these storms approach the cloud formations are often spectacular. This shot was taken almost right underneath the storm cell. Not much eventuated from this storm though. |
