THE GARDENS had recently been created as part of a large residential development in what had been abandoned wasteland. The landscaping here was spectacular. Although the plants had not been established here very long, some areas were already impressive.
Under a large walkway bridge stood a cluster of tree ferns. The area was kept humid through water vapour generated hidden in amongst the foliage. The rays of sun shining through the mist created a rather eerie rainforest feel here in this small corner of the gardens.
