FROM the salty mangroves of the narrow parkland of Kangaroo Point are several viewpoints from where the glimmering city stands bold above the Brisbane River. Boats travel by taking their cargoes and passengers up and downstream along the river which snakes its way some ninety kilometres from Moreton Bay to where it rises above the tide. |
