A COLD start of -4 degrees started a perfectly clear and still winters morning in Canberra. It was the perfect day for exploring the buildings of old and new parliament houses. In this view Old Parliament House reflects in a lake under the clear sky. This was in use for many years before the new house opened about half a kilometre behind it. The flagpole is visible behind the old house. |
