BEING intrigued by the mysterious tower atop Black Mountain, I climbed to the top of the hill and went up into the observation deck in the tower. The observation deck stood above the low forest giving a clear view in all directions. The most spectacular view was across Lake Burley-Griffen, an artificial lake built separating the city centre from the parliament house and embassies from where the country is governed from. |
