THE PRISTINE golden beaches start a little south of the Abel Tasman National Park. Kaiteriteri is the first main golden beach, and also the most crowded. Every year in the middle of summer a conga line of holidaymakers stream up from Christchurch for a few weeks before returning home again leaving the beach relatively quiet for the rest of the year. |
