THE CAPTAIN Cook Bridge marks the start of the main motorway heading out of Brisbane City southwards towards the Gold Coast. It is an interesting piece of geometry, with the hard curved lines of concrete construction juxtaposed nicely with the river sweeping around the city. A mangrove forest separates the river from the glass towers of the city. |
