THERE is a tropical dome in the Toowong Botanical gardens. Here the large geodesic dome that has stood for eighty years provides a tropical microclimate to a tropical garden within. There is a large pond in the middle of the tropical garden. Many plants including lilies grow in this pond. The water is smooth perfectly reflecting the geodesic dome above. |
