RETURNING to Christchurch from Motueka I made a stop in Hanmer Springs. Winter was quickly approaching with snow falling on the mountains. The trees were going to sleep for the winter. Today was perhaps the best day of autumn where the green leaves turn brilliant yellows, oranges and reds before falling off to let the tree rest. |
