HAVING successfully reached the bottom of the mountain, I celebrated my success with my fellow travellers, the guides and the porters. Here I was with Alex my porter who carried my pack between the huts on the mountain. He was a very strong young man very supportive in my quest to conquer Africa's highest mountain.
