IN THE peaceful shallow waters of Geographe Bay is the Busselton Jetty, the longest in the Southern Hemisphere at nearly two kilometres long. Although no longer in commercial use it is now a tourist attraction with a museum at one end and an underwater observatory at the other.
Seagulls forage amongst the washed up seaweed washed up by the gentle waves lethargically lapping against the shore.
