A HUGE canal development has been built at the far south of Moreton Bay in the northern suburbs of the Gold Coast. In the stillness of a late winter’s morning a chapel near the Sanctuary Cove Marina reflects perfectly in the canal as the first rays of light illuminate the Eastern sky to mark the start of a clear and cloudless day. At 5:30 AM it is the coldest time of the morning, with the birds just beginning their morning song. Otherwise it is silent, with not a person in sight. |
