FOLLOWING a drought stricken summer where almost rain had fallen over the entire rainy season, I was keen to go waterfall hunting following over two hundred millimetres of rain the other day.
Last time I was here there was barely a trickle of water running down the eighty metre high cliff face (see this shot of a small waterfall above the main falls). Today it was a different story with the waterfall thundering in all its glory.
The intense early morning humidity filled the valley with thick fog, but it briefly lifted just enough for me to get this shot of the waterfall seemingly coming out of the cloud plunging down into the dense rainforest below.
