I TOOK an afternoon walk along the walkway that follows the northern side of the lake hopefully to photograph it. The high cloud quickly covered the sky exacerbating the hazy conditions creating far from ideal lighting producing very mediocre results.
Then I thought perhaps there just may be a sunset to recover the situation. Even that didn't seem likely. There was too much cloud cover. The sun went down, but in the last few minutes some of the cloud suddenly cleared allowing the sun to break through and illuminate the bottoms of the clouds in one of the most fiery sunset displays I have ever seen.
