FOLLOWING a hotter than usual day, I followed one of the trails around the shores of Lake Samsonvale. As the sun dropped towards the horizon, the haze began to obscure Mount Samson as it brightly illuminated the lake. Off the low headlands the occasional pelican paddled across the surface in search for its dinner. |
