FOLLOWING a significant break from photography upon my return from New Zealand, I had caught up with the processing of the 3500 images enough to go out again.
I headed out with one of my regular hiking friends doing a circuit crossing Storey Bridge, then heading down to Kangaroo Point and following the Brisbane River upstream to cross the Goodwill Bridge and head back to our starting point along the city side of the river.
It was a perfectly clear almost cloudless morning, but strong winds from the south west provided a hint that summer will be coming to an end soon.
