WINTER days are normally crystal clear and colourful. In stark contrast today was overcast and rainy, with heavy downpours approaching for the afternoon and evening. Despire gusty squalls, the birds were perched on the power lines exposed to the conditions. The weather had completely sucked the colour out of the landscape, to the point that there was no difference at all in this photo when I took all of the colour out of it - there was none to start with. |
