STARTING early at Oyster Point at the top of Scarborough, I followed the path along the coast down the length of Redcliffe Peninsula before crossing the very long bridge across to Sandgate and reaching Shorncliffe before quickly heading home before the huge storm struck.
It was a day full of character with small golden beaches, two shipwrecks and about 50 kite surfers.
The picture was taken at Osbourne Point shortly after sunrise. The low tide revealed an extensive rocky reef network under the golden beaches.
