A BROWN hunteman spider (Heteropoda jugulans) moved into my downstairs office sometime today.

Active by night, this large hunting spider will keep any insects at bay. It was a good sized female specimen with a leg span of 70-80mm. Fortunately this species isn't venemous. It's the little ones you need to look out for.
