TIME to move up to a professional full frame camera I have been watching the different models over recent years. I narrowed the choice down to the 5D and the 6D and realised the lighter 6D was more suitable for the outdoor photography and the 5D suited for indoor work.
I bought a kit with the 24-105mm lens - one of the last available as this has just been upgraded by a new much heavier lens with no noticable improvement in quality. I had timed this very well.
To top it off I also obtained a 2x teleconverter to increase magnification when shooting with the 150-500mm lens.
