STARTING my late afternoon walk near the Scarborough Harbour, thick cloud had already covered the sky, giving little chance of a good sunset tonight. Rounding Oyster Point and exploring the towering red cliffs giving the Redcliffe Peninsula its name, I reached the groyne at the top of Scarborough Beach just in time to see the last sunlight stream through a tiny gap in the cloud layers creating brilliant colours across the sky. |
