ANOTHER misty morning greeted me at Brahminy. The track descended along the top of the slope until reaching the Teewah flats just below the cloud. From there I took a diversion to Teewah Landing on the shores of Lake Cootharaba before heading to Teewah Beach.
In stark contrast to the solitude of the track across the dunes where I only saw a few people each day, the beach was very crowded with a constant flow of four wheel drives heading in either direction severely cutting up the beach. Fortunately with the tide going out I was able to make good progress to today's destination at the Noosa North Shore Beach Campground.
Although still cloudy, the sunset over the beach was dramatic. The beach stretched to the south towards the distant hills of the Noosa Headlands looking like an offshore island.
