TODAY I'm coming from Quebec City near the mouth of the St Lawrence River which flows out into the Atlantic Ocean just around these mountains. This is quite an interesting part of Canada. Here everyone speaks French which they only do in the Quebec province. All the rest of the country speaks English. This means I actually feel like a real traveller now with being in an area where they don't speak English.

Down below here is the old quarter of the city which I've just finished exploring. There are a couple of cruise ships here as well. This was settled back in the early 1600s. Turning around just here there's a very magnificent castle sitting here on top of the hill overlooking the city. This is a very charming place. Apparently they get about six or seven metres of snow during winter making this quite an extreme place to live.

The weather is actually closing in now. Rain is just starting to fall from quite a cold system coming through I suppose from the Arctic. It is cold, but I'm heading down across the river and down into the United States and down to Boston.
