I'M COMING today from the Brooklyn Bridge having already walked across it into Brooklyn and now I'm heading back into Manhattan. There it is over there with the buildings of lower Manhattan, and further away the buildings of middle Manhattan. As you can see it's pretty crowded here with heaps and heaps of people crossing over the bridge. I suppose that's New York for you with its 26 million tourists visiting every year.
I'm most of the way across the bridge now. I've always wanted to do this one since I saw the movie Cloverfield which had quite a scene on this bridge. For some reason ever since I've wanted to do this and I'm now 90% of the way through completing it.
Well I've now come to the end of the Brooklyn Bridge having achieved another bucket list item. I've achieved four today which is not bad for a day off. I got to the New York Stock Exchange earlier. Just after that I had a real American hot dog which is completely unlike anything I normally eat but I had to have one. Then a bit later I had Burger King again quite a rarity for me but being in the land of the hamburger I had to try it out. Now I've just done the Brooklyn Bridge. That's four, so now its time for me to head off to the bus station now I've achieved everything for today.
