I'M HERE in Miami, Florida, at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. This is the first time I've been to the North Atlantic Ocean since I was in St Petersburg just under two years ago having crossed the Eurasian continent. So here I am in North America right on the Atlantic Ocean. Here in Miami is quite different to St Petersburg. There it was extremely cold. Here it is quite warm and tropical around 33 degrees today. A sea breeze is coming off the very warm Atlantic Ocean.
Earlier today I was in the Everglades, exploring the world's slowest river. I took a boat out into the wetlands which were quite fascinating. I've now come back to the city on the coast to see what it's like as I rest up for another tour tomorrow.
