Good morning friends. It is about 5:00 in the morning and I'm at the edge of Lake Cootharaba. It's pretty quiet here. Nobody else is here at the moment. It is completely silent apart from the waves breaking on the beach about 6 or 7 kilometres away. Across from me is the Cooloola Sandmass which I hiked over a couple of years ago following the Cooloola Great Walk. I'm over the other side at the edge of Lake Cootharaba which is apparently Queensland's largest natural lake. The Noosa Everglades flows into it and the lower Noosa River flows out of it continuing downstream for another 10 kilometres to the coast at Noosa Heads. It's a very nice area through here.

Well friends, the sun has risen now. It has been a very nice pleasant morning here at the shores of Lake Cootharaba, Queensland's largest natural lake. Now I just need to head back to Brisbane. Today is the last day of the school holidays so the traffic is going to be absolutely crazy this afternoon so I better head back now before it does get crazy. Thanks friends for joining with me again this morning. I'll catch you somewhere else next time. Ciao for now.
