Well good morning friends. Today I'm coming from Caloundra at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast. Just behind me is the Pumicestone Passage between the mainland and Bribie Island. Bribie Island starts just out here and the beach goes down about thirty kilometres to the settlements at the bottom of the island. You may just be able to see Moreton Island out there on the horizon. Today I'm following this path. It is quite busy today as you can see. I'm going to follow it to as far as Bell's Creek about ten kilometres away at the end of the Sunshine Coast Coastal Walkway. Also today is the final day of the 24 composition challenge, the last piece. You'll remember I've been presenting a different piece each in a different key, a different melody and chord structure. It's come quite quickly now having done all 24. I've now composed a piece in every possible key, all the major and minor keys. Today is the last one. Anyway come join with me as I explore the coastal path between Caloundra and Bell's Creek.

Well friends I've made it to Bell's Creek at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast coastal route. This is right at the bottom end of the Sunshine Coast. Just across the creek there is the start of the Moreton Bay region. It's just all mangroves and farmland over there. So this is where the Sunshine Coast ends. I've hiked a good twelve kilometres down from Caloundra today and I've reached the end of the track and it's now high tide so I will relax here for a while. Then I'll head off in that direction to explore some new subdivisions. I think there are a few pathways through there. Anyway this is where I will leave you today. Thanks friends for joining me again today and thanks for going through all the 24 compositions. It was a really interesting exercise. On that note I'm going to stop doing the video diaries. The diaries will just be in a text format on my website walkaboutjeff.com. Producing the videos is quite time consuming and as you can see I've fallen quite a bit behind with them (65 diaries behind at time of publishing). If I just do text diaries I'll be able to get them up a lot quicker. I may still end up putting videos down the track for the diaries but it does take a long time to edit videos. With time being precious at the moment I thought I would cut down on the videos and save doing them for bigger multi day trips. I will definitely be continuing with videos and also photography as well. It has been fun doing the diaries but it's time to go back to a text format now. So on that note. Thanks friends for joining with me again today. Ciao for now.
