Heavy flooding rain was falling over the Sunshine Coast and Gympie areas, causing some major flooding for the second time this year. This was no day for hiking up there, so I stayed very local heading to Forgan Cove and following the track. Rain had fallen all morning, but it stopped falling shortly before I arrived.
Streams of water was running along the track as I followed it around the back of Forgan Cove and around the next headland where I came out onto the lake getting some good shots of the rain falling in the distance fading out some of the headlands.
From there I returned to the track and followed it up the back of the stream and onto the next headland which I followed around through the forest of grass trees before heading back to Forgan Cove.
