Well hello friends. Today I'm coming from Lawnton just north of Brisbane. I'm currently exploring one of the parks up here. This was originally the site of the ferry crossing across the North Pine River back in the Gympie gold rush days. A lot has changed now with all sorts of bridges going across it. I'm just going along what used to be the old railway bridge. This is the modern one here and there's the road bridge over there. This is a very interesting park with some historical remnants here. You would have seen all my old videos going up and I've realised there was quite a lot of them with last year being the biggest year of travel ever done with 104 days all up so it's going to take quite a long time to get all the old videos up. Keep watching them and enjoy. Loading them will keep me a busy for quite a bit longer. I do have another trip planned this year totalling three interstate trips for this year. Apart from that it has been a relatively quiet year for travelling with mostly doing local stuff and doing pickups for the northern circuit walk I've been doing, but otherwise it's been a fairly quiet year for travelling. I've now reached the river. This is the North Pine River where the ferry used to go over. Used by the old gold prospectors heading 150 kilometres north from here up to Gympie. Here is about 25 kilometres up from Brisbane City here. From here they used to get a little ferry across. I'm just exploring this side of the river today. I've never been here to this park before.
