Introduction to today's journey
Today's journey takes me from Hakodate by train back up to Sapporo, from where I fly out towards Hanoi.

Departing Hakodate in the early morning, I take the train back up towards Sapporo, passing the mysterious Hokaido Koma-ga-take volcano just before reaching the coast at Uchiara Bay. |
