JUST a few hundred metres from the exposed Cape Moreton lighthouse are the calm waters behind North Point. The beach is exposed to fairly large swells and currents from the water flooding and ebbing into Moreton Bay, causing the sand to shift substantially over time. This movement of sand creates crystal clear shifting lagoons along this end of the beach. |
