THIS was my first time returning to New Zealand in 6 years, and my second trip back since moving to Australia eight years ago. Leaving Brisbane in the late afternoon and due to arrive in New Zealand around midnight, I watched the sun set as Australia slipped back over the western horizon. Here the braided channels of southern Moreton Bay reflected the golden sunlight. |
