WITH just hours to go before catching my next flight into Africa, I headed across the road from the hotel into the Deira Shopping Centre. It was already 10:00 AM and the shops were only just opening. They open late, but also close late. After exploring the shopping centre for some time I finally found a very good souvenir shop where I made some purchases and had them posted back home in Brisbane, half a world away.
