I TRAVELLED into Nelson where a huge storm had struck overnight. The steep cliffs marking the fault lines building the Richmond Range had experienced a lot of erosion with quite a few houses seriously damaged. Heading along the main road into the city, barricades had been set up to prevent the slipping soil and rocks coming down the cliff from getting onto the road. |
