BRISBANE'S annual river festival concludes with a bang. Many thousands of people line the banks of the Brisbane River to watch the spectacular Riverfire display.

The explosions of the fireworks echoes off the high rise buildings. Thick smoke fills the air and drifts over Southbank. More fireworks goes off from many of the buildings creating a magnificent spectacle.
