THE RISING full moon was very bright this evening, heading towards its perogee. The light it emitted was strong enough for me to capture strong colours in the local pineapple farm close to where I live.
This was taken with a 30 second exposure to best capture the colours, but even without the long exposure, the sky had a perceptible blue tone to it and the forest showed some of its colours in the illuminated parts in between the very heavy shadows. The pineapple farm has been here for many decades with residential estates being built all around it. Sadly in a few years even this remnant of the farming era would be sold off to developers to create a new residential subdivision with large houses on tiny blocks just like the rest of the city.
