Well hello friends. Today I'm coming from the Bay of Islands. I travelled up here from Auckland earlier today and settled in Paihia. From there I've taken the boat across to Russell to explore the very historic town. It is a very old town and a nearby village was New Zealand's first capital before the capital was moved to Auckland, then Wellington. Now I'm in the middle of a cruise out going around all the different islands of the Bay of Islands. At the moment I'm on the largest island, Urupukapuka Island from where we're watching a very magnificent sunset from this beautiful bay. Soon we will be heading back to Paihia to spend the night.
