Well good morning friends. Today I'm back in Perth hills just exploring some of the suburbs and you can probably see in the far background the city. There's some quite good views from up here. I'm just doing some exploring, starting in Kalamunda, heading down exploring some of the suburban areas out in the east of the city.

I started at Kalamunda this morning and came down the hill exploring some of the bushland and then across a large industrial area and now I'm back in another residential area just doing some exploring. Nothing overly exciting today just getting to know some different areas of Perth. It started off pretty cool this morning at about 14 degrees as it usually does but it is heading up to 35 degrees and I'd say it is well over 30 already.

OK friends, I've now made it into Guildford. It has been a very interesting walk starting in historical Kalamunda before exploring some of the other suburbs. Now I'm in a very historical area in Guildford. Just behind me there is the Guildford Hotel which is quite famous, but apparently partially burnt down a while ago so it is not operational at the moment. There's a lot of historic buildings here and it is very busy as well. That road down there is the main highway into Perth. This road across here is the National Highway 1. This is the world's longest road going 16,300 kilometres right around Australia. It passes quite close to my place over in Brisbane and goes through all of Australia's capital cities and this is where it comes through Perth. If you start driving along here and keep on going, after 16,300 kilometres you end up right back here. This is the world's longest road.

Anyway it has been quite an interesting trip exploring all the different suburbs today. I'm going to head across the road and catch the train back into the city so this is where my journey ends today.

Thanks friends for joining me again today and I'm going to catch you somewhere here in Perth tomorrow. Until then, ciao for now.
