THE BEST place to see a city is from the top of its highest building. In the case of Sydney this is the Centrepoint Tower, a large inverted cork shaped building sitting on top of a cylinder elevating it three hundred metres into the sky above every other high rise building.

From the viewing deck of the tower, the city sprawled in all directions as far as the eye could see, broken only by the sea in the east and the harbour crossing to the north.

As the sun set the lights in the office towers remained on as all the people filed out like tiny ants to begin their long commutes home.
