FOLLOWING two days relaxing on the beautiful north coast of Moreton Island, I watched the spectacular sunset over the Glasshouse Mountains. A bushfire somewhere on the mainland enhanced the mysteriousness of this sunset. The view of the Glasshouse Mountains was similar to the view Captain Cook had when he had named them, perhaps named after the glasshouses near where he lived back in England. |
