FROM the middle of Brisbane City I found a relatively dark spot at Gardens Point from where I watched the Earth's shadow cover the moon. The shadow completely covered the moon almost completely darkening the surrounding sky. The moon turned a dull red colour thanks to some of the sun's rays refracting around the atmosphere. |
