THE KINABATANGAN River flows through northern Borneo. Although much of the jungle in this area has been cleared, pristine jungle still lines the banks of the river, still living up to its former glory. Legendary jungle exploration journeys have occurred on this river, which eternally flows peacefully through these equatorial tropics.

Silver leaf monkeys, proboscis monkeys and even the occasional orangutan dwell the forests that line the river. The occasional hornbill flies overhead as I venture into the unknown.
