LONG shadows of the late afternoon were sweeping across the upper Samford Valley as the sun approached the horizon. From Jolly's Lookout the eastern side of the D'Aguilar Range had strong contrast from the low sun sweeping over the ridges and gullies highlighting the yellow-green foliage of the gum trees. |
