AT FIRST light on this sultry morning there were already people walking along the path under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Above me the roar of the morning traffic had already started as masses of commuters crossed the great coat hanger into the brightly shining jewel of the central city. The opera house stood dominant at the end of Bennelong Point jutting out into the harbour guiding the ferrys into Circular Quay.
