THE CIRRUS cloud of the jet stream hurried across the sky, but cleared in the late afternoon forgoing what could have been a brilliant sunset. As the sun silently slipped beneath the western horizon they were followed by Venus and Jupiter. To the East the gibbous moon was already climbing high into the sky ready to softly illuminate the night sky. Photo from today: |
