THE MOON was at its brightest all year. Unfortunately I had missed a rare total supermoon eclipse as it had happened earlier in the day on the other side of the world. As a consolation though the moon brightly illuminated the night sky.
The crystal clear still air created a brilliant view of the moon's features. Despite that the sun was shining directly on the surface washing out the shadows that normally appear across the mountainous walls of the numerous craters of this dead world.
