AT THE end of an afternoon hike around the Ewan Maddock Dam lake I stopped at a small cove to watch the sun set in between light showers of rain falling from the clouds blowing in from the Tasman Sea. The pastel colours of the sunset blotted away to total darkness for a brief few minutes before the brilliant moonlight streamed over the hills. |
